What it checks
Shows the title and description Google will pull from your page, cut where Google cuts them, so you see what a searcher sees.
Why it matters
A title that runs long gets chopped mid-word. A missing description gets replaced with whatever text Google grabs. This is your first impression, and most sites have never checked it.
